These are the blocks mailed off yesterday to Kaite for the Australian Flood Relief Project. This quilt will actually be sent to a family in Emerald, Queensland. I just love how it came out. These string blocks are striking no matter what color palette you use. Kaite posted a tutorial on constructing the quilt that is worth checking out. These go so fast that I made the 35 here, plus at least 20 more. I'll just keep going over time until I have enough for at least two more quilts that will be donated here in Bend.
